Located on the Ile d’Oleron, the Hotel Île De Lumière offers direct access to the beach. It has an outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court and many other facilities. We had a spacious room, with a large confortable bed, high ceilings, exceptionally clean. We loved being at the ocean, gaving our own space outdoors to enjoy the view. Breakfast was great, hotel has a lovely pool. One of the best small hotels I’ve stayed at.

The hotel’s location is great, additionally you have the chance to rent a bike in order to explore the island or drive to the beach nearby. Facing the beachfront, Les Bains Boyardville - Hôtel et Restaurant offers 3-star accommodation in Boyardville and features a garden, terrace and restaurant. very small boutique hotel, staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. The restaurant was FANTASTIC and if you like seafood it’s the best. Breakfast was also fabulous with really good coffee.
